I'm getting threatining e-mail that is abusive and a sourse of harrasment. I'm quite frightened by it. I live in a small town and doubt the police here can track the location of the person who is sending me these e-mails. Is there a way yahoo can help me identify who is doing this?
How can I find the point of origin of threatining e-mail?
My recommendation is contact your local police department and inform them of what is going on, they could put you in contact with the proper law enforcemetn authorities that handle "Cyber-Crimes". Try to think, who you angered to the point that they want to harm you. why do they want to harm you? Can this person find you?
Reply:just click on the button that reports it as spam - it will cut down on getting them in the future
Reply:try checking the source of the e-mail. All e-mail have a source in the message heading. Just click on it and it should give you the source and location of e-mail.
