Would it be worth opening up the 25 e-mail spams to report them?
These came in in the last three days. I understand trojans and others can be in these. The spams need to be posted to send them. I can report the spams to the same place that the hackers can be reported to.

i belive so but dont take a risk, if you dont have good virusware protection its just something to delete! dont take a risk of destroying a computer or losing information just so you can stop annoying e-mails. also it depends on what the sender APPEARS to be, if it looks like its from a friend, call em up to verify its from them, if it isnt then do not open it.

I've got a Kodak EasyShare C513 digital camera with a 1GB PNY SD photo memory card. I don't have the USB cord for it, but the card goes right into my computer. This question has very little coherency, since, as far as I know, cameras have no web connectivity. Why would you want email addresses on your camera? And if you have a card reader, you don't need Easyshare or any sort of photo-importation software. This will show 200 Mails per page and its faster to delete them if you have LOT of mails!.

Check that the printer you're using is the same as the default printer in your printers folder (control panel/printers). If it isn't and there is another printer in there that matches your actual printer, right click it, and set it as the default or make sure to choose it when you're printing. If the printer in the printers folder is the same as your actual printer, then shut off the printer (the computer too if you like) and when you restart the printer it should work fine. If you still have a problem, re-install the drivers.

Depends on what was contained within the email. If they were notifying you that you would be getting a paper check vs the direct deposit due to paying your fees to them for the tax preparation out of your refund payment, that is correct. I believe they sent out emails to notify people of that fact.
But if ANYONE asks you for your personal information, it is a phishing scam. NEVER give out your personal information to anyone soliciting for it by phone or email. And do not trust the links in such emails as many phishers (scammers) will also have decoy websites that look official to try to trick you.

I have a page which explains how you can set up Outlook Express to access your mail provider's servers but please note the following:

Is there some way to edit the advertisements I might receive from yahoo!? These are not e-mails mind you, these are flash advertisements that are up any time I'm in my e-mail.

Ok, the recipient may be busy or maybe s/he just forgot, but that's beside the point. How do you feel when you send an e-mail to a friend or acquaintance and you don't hear back? Does it not affect you? Do you write that person off as no longer a friend? Do you wonder what happened to him/her? Or do you think that maybe s/he is just busy. We really don't know what's going on in each other's lives. So what do you all think?

I leave my computer on, with the e mail screen still pulled up, meaning to finish when I get back from doing what I will be doing. I think HTML might be the best one, but I'm not sure whether formatting would be preserved.

During that time someone got into my e-mail and sent out a nasty e-mail to everyone in my address book. Nobody will confess to doing it. What can and what should I do?? The computers were bought by the firemen but they are in a city building.

Thought MS-Word is very common but to be of safe side any picture format like JPEG is best otherwise doc is also very good, if the content is not very big then the size of the file will also be small.

During that time someone got into my e-mail and sent out a nasty e-mail to everyone in my address book. Nobody will confess to doing it. What can and what should I do?? The computers were bought by the firemen but they are in a city building.

4- Close with some sort of expectation: ie. I look forward to talking to you late next week to learn what the next step would be.

You should NEVER open spam emails. You should NEVER click on links in email unless you are 100% sure where the links will take you.
The email you describe is most likely spam and if you click on the link you will most likely get infected with some very serious malware.

I say try because if you have been infected, the virus often tries to prevent the victim from downloading an anti-virus program. If such is the case, Find a friend to download it to a CD and then install it on your computer via her CD. There might be a simpler, less scary explanation, but at least you should be aware of the possibilities.

If someone garuntees to do something in an E-mail to get you to do something you are not sure about, and the only reason you do it is because of the garuntee, does this constitute a contract?
If they do not/can not do this for you is this breach of contract?
