I just had a interview with a company that went very well.I am looking for ideas for a post interview e-mail to send to a company.
What type of e-mail do I need to send to a company ?
I've been through a few job changes and many interviews over the past few years. Here are some things I do:
1- Repeat a few things you learned about the job and company.
2- State that you are confident that you are a good fit for the job and very excited to work for the company.
3- If it's a job you want them to offer to you, be very positive and upbeat and confident.
4- Close with some sort of expectation: ie. I look forward to talking to you late next week to learn what the next step would be.
good luck!
Reply:I'm going through the same thing myself but have a job developer helping me. Thank them for the interview, I hope you followed a thank you note by snail mail right away. Tell them things you liked about the company, the atmosphere the decor, how other people interacted with each other etc. Some where in the e-mail mention you really want the job , explain why etc. I was once told looking for a job is like going to the store how do they know what you want unless you tell them. I'm here and I want the job no questions asked and firm. I said that in one interview and got 4 calls back and still hoping to get in my employment depends when the person I'm to replace decides to leave.
Reply:You send them a nice thank-you letter for their time, and most importantly, reiterate your interest in the position. Compliment them on their vision for the future and how you feel that you can play an intergral role in helping them achieve their objectives. Something like that. Those are the key points i like to mention in any thank you letter I send after an interview.
