How do I check to see if an e-mail I sent someone has been received and/or read?

How do I check to see if an e-mail I sent has been received and/or read by the person I sent it to?
Not really. BUT- Outlook has an toggle to request read receipt.. but it does not always work, because it depends on people approving a read reply which I personally always disable.





So, the short answer is No.





The long answer is- sort of, sometimes. ;)
Reply:If you sent it via yahoo unfortunately there is no such facility. I wouldn't mind it myself.

But if something was important, I would call to politely ask whether they read my email, yet. Business is business. Or better, send your information by certified physical mail, requesting a delivery receipt or signature as appropriate.





If this is just to check whether your crush read your love note, you're inviting a world of hurt by attempting this kind of thing. Better to call or text.
