I was thinking the same thing. I had a question for a user and couldn't get to email her
How come people dont activate their e-mail to allow e-mails from others here?
Because they don't know how? That is my guess.
Reply:Not everyone is a computer freak around on planet earth.
Some just enjoy themselves in playing computer games in answering question not in reading others mail on planet earth.
Just hang around to help out in sovling problems for the little children at loss out there on planet earth.
Reply:I know what you mean. I've had a few people email me via the Answers system with ignorant complaints about my answers, but when I try to respond I get that "sorry, they haven't confirmed their email yet" message. And it's not that it's difficult to do, it's just a matter of setting your preferences to allow other members to contact you. I think it's because they like to dish it out, but don't want to take any chance that they might get some back in return.
Reply:maybe because they dont want strangers emailing them
Reply:I don't want any emails from people who may not like some of my opinions. I am getting crap in my bulk mail that says "saw you on yahoo answers", some kind of sales crap. I'd like to know how that happens.
Reply:its a choice they made.
perhaps they do not wish to be disturbed by fellow yahoo users.
