I was told that I would be able to do this by the att installers, but if they gave me info on it, I have lost it.
How do I access my att e-mail while at my winter home without an internet service on my computer there?
nope. no ISP means no internet. if you have dialup and keep paying for it you can just dialup if you bring your laptop.
cable ISP is registered to your house and dialup is registered to you
Reply:Well you need some sort of internet access, otherwise you aren't getting anywhere on the internet. They probably meant you can access their 'webmail' product by going to their website and logging in. But like I said, unless you have a internet connection at your winter home, you can't do it.
Reply:You can visit the local library. Most public libraries offer free Internet Access to their patrons. If you have a local address you should quilify for a library card there and if not, maybe they might give you a brake of visitor (temporary just internet access card.)
Won't hurt to ask.
