I've got net nanny and K9 Web running at the same time. I'm married and I'm just really not interested in all the advertisements for single women in my area. Is there some way to edit the advertisements I might receive from yahoo!? These are not e-mails mind you, these are flash advertisements that are up any time I'm in my e-mail.
What do need to do to get Y! to stop advertising sexy singles in my area when I log into my e-mail?
Unfortunately you can't edit those ads, but you can block them!!! Try this:
Download and install the latest Firefox browser:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all...
Also install "adblock plus":
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...
Result: no more annoying ads! And pages are loading much quicker too...:-)
http://www.admuncher.com/ - this adblocker for the IE (and other browsers) gets highly recommended in several forums.
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/261... - for Safari Mac
http://opindian.com/blog/2009/02/25/adbl... - another solution for Safari 4 Win and Mac
Note: I have the Firefox installed and also adblock plus, I don't even see those annoying flash ads on YA anymore...:-)
Reply:That was one of the quickest BA's I ever got, 8 minutes after posting my answer...:-) Hope it all works out for you... Report Abuse
