I'm curious to know why, as your only asked for an e-mail address (Which I know can be accessed via your mobile phone) maybe you'll be able to send/receive text messages in the future or is this possible now, if so how.

When registering an e-mail address on Wii, why is there an image of a mobile phone?
I think there is a picture of a Mobile Phone due to the fact that ... well I think its just a mistake on Nintendo's behalf!
