sometimes Yahoo home page tells me I have no e-mail, but then I click on the icon and I find I do have mail. I'd like to go directly to the mail page.
I would like my e-mail page to be my start up page instead of Yahoo home. How do I do that?
Click on Tools%26gt;%26gt;then on Internet Options%26gt;%26gt;general (tab across the top).
At the top of that dialog box is the "homepage" area.
Erase what's there and enter Yahoo mail instead----then "apply and OK".
Actually the easiest thing to do, is make a yahoo mail shortcut on your desktop---which will take you directly to the mail page---. Then you can just leave yahoo home as the homepage.
To make a shortcut%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;open your mail page, and right click a blank space up near the top, and in the drop menu, click ""create shortcut". Then click "yes" when asked---"do you want a shortcut on your desktop"? It's done immediately.
Reply:Go to the Sign In menu at the top of the toolbar and click on Sign In Options. Click on Start Group under Category. Here you can add or remove the web pages that open when you open Yahoo. Copy the link to your email page and add it to the list. Remove anything you don't want.
